Information on data protection and data security in our practice

Who do we share your information with?
- The Dentist Association Rhineland-Palatinate (public corporation)
receives the data for billing with the health insurance and for checking for correctness.
- Your health insurance company or another insurance provider of the statutory insurance system (forExample, the state casualty fund) gets the relevant data for billing.
- Dental laboratories receive data that are necessary for the production of dentures, etc.(eg name, insured status, treatment planning).
- Contract dental assessors and the medical service of the health insurance companies receive your data (name, findings and therapy documents, etc.), which should produce an opinion on behalf of your health insurance.
- At the request of the examination center, billing data must be transmitted as part of a statutory performance audit.
- Laboratory physicians and / or pathologists receive data, if appropriate diagnostics are necessary for the treatment (for example a mucous membrane disease).
- The exercise of legitimate interests of the dental practice may require the use of legal or legal assistance requiring data transfer.
- Other physicians, insurance companies, private accounting offices and other institutions will only receive the data necessary for the respective case with separate consent from you.
